    The Plaza Río de Janeiro is located in the Roma neighborhood and was created in 1903 as part of the beautification project of Mexico City during the government of Porfirio Diaz. In the center it has a fountain with an impressive replica of the David sculpture, by Michelangelo, made of bronze and was placed there in 1976. Around you, you can see buildings with different architectural styles and learn about some legends that characterize this historic neighborhood.

    An oasis in the middle of the big city. In pre-Hispanic times it was a small islet that communicated its inhabitants with the great Tenochtitlán.
