Banteay Kdei is a Buddhist temple in Angkor, Cambodia. It is located southeast of Ta Prohm and east of Angkor Thom. it is in the style of Bayon architecture, like the designs of Ta Prohm and Preah Khan, but it is smaller and smaller. The tree roots at Banteay Kdei are absolutely massive, and they’re taking control of the buildings.
Ta Keo Temple is a striking mountain-style temple in the Angkor complex, built in the late 10th–early 11th century during the reign of King Jayavarman V. Dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, it is famous for its massive sandstone blocks and almost completely undecorated walls, giving it a powerful and unfinished appearance. Visitors can climb the steep steps to the top for panoramic views of the surrounding jungle and nearby Angkor temples, making it a favorite stop for adventure-loving travelers.
