88 Beach St, Queenstown. Proceed to the RealNZ Earnslaw office located on the lakefront of this address. Check in with staff at the desk. Guests will receive a ticket to board the start of their tour and be directed to the boat.

    Day 1

    Queenstown to Te Anau, via Walter Peak, Mount Nicholas & Von Valley

    Guests board the beautiful TSS Earnslaw and take a 45-min cruise from Queenstown to Walter Peak Station.

    Guests enjoy a gourmet BBQ buffet lunch at Walter Peak Station, as well as a sheep dog show highlighting New Zealand high country farming practices

    Guests then board our Premium Luxe Tours All-Wheel-Drive Van with only 10 seats, a removed row of seats, and a wider reclining seat. We travel through to Te Anau via Walter Peak & Mount Nicholas Stations where you will see thousands of sheep, cows and deer,. We enter the stunning Von Valley with several river crossings, elevated mountain views and guests will learn about the history of the area as well as several scenic photo & nature stops. We arrive in Te Anau by 5pm and guests are dropped off to their hotel accommodation included in the package. The hotel is the Distinction Hotel & Villas, on the lakefront of beautiful Te Anau.

    Milford Sound Day Tour from Te Anau

    Guests re-board our van at 7:30am bound for Milford Sound and experience our 5-star rated tour. We stop at up to 10 scenic stops, include a beautiful short nature & forest walk, take a two hour cruise in Milford Sound, provide afternoon tea including snack and guided by our local experts.

    Return to Queenstown via Von Valley & Earnslaw Cruise

    We begin our journey back to Walter Peak and the awaiting Earnslaw Cruise. We stop a several different locations on the way back along the back country road, including a local cafe for a hot drink or snack. Guests will experience the Mavora Lakes where several scenes of Lord of the Rings were filmed.

    Guests arrive back to Walter Peak Station to await the Earnslaw. Luxe Tours provides a delicious snack platter to enjoy and guests can explore the grounds of the lovely Walter Peak homestead including interact with the farm animals nearby. Guests then board the Earnslaw Cruise at 1:45pm and sail their way back to Queenstown, arriving back at 2:30pm for the completion of the tour.
