1Jogyesa Temple
Jogyesa Temple is the head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. The temple was first established in 1395, during the Joseon Dynasty. However, the current temple as it is now was built in 1910. So, in 2010 the temple celebrated it’s 100 year anniversary. If you study the history of Buddhism in the Joseon Dynasty, Joseon began suppressing Buddhism because it made Confucianism its ruling ideology. So, the Joseon government didn’t allow monks to enter the city of Seoul. So today, most of the temples are located in the countryside or mountains, and there are only a few temples in Seoul. And Jogyesa Temple is one of them.

The Blue House (Pass by)
'Cheong' means blue and 'Wa' means roof tile. So, 'Cheongwadae' is blue house in english. 'Cheongwadae' was main office of president. The current president of Korea has moved the main office of president to Yongsan, so blue house is no longer the main office of president.

2Gyeongbokgung Palace
Gyeongbokgung Palace is a representative tourist destination in Korea. Gyeongbokgung Palace is one of the five grand palaces of the Joseon Dynasty and the main palace of Joseon. It is the first palace built during the Joseon Dynasty. The first king of Joseon Lee Seong-gye established the Joseon Dynasty in 1392 and he moved the capital city from Gaeseong to Seoul. And then Gyeongbokgung was built in 1395, three years after the Joseon dynasty was founded, and it serves as the main palace.

5Insadong
We'll have lunch near Insadong. (50min) And we will look around Insadong for 50 minutes. Insadong is one of the representative streets of Seoul where you can experience Korea's traditional culture, and it is also a must-see for foreigners in Seoul. The street of traditional culture is alive with modern buildings and traditions. Insadong is the street where Korean characteristics are best displayed, and there are many antique shops, art galleries, traditional tea houses, and local restaurants.

6Namdaemun Market
Namdaemun Market is located next to Namdaemun Gate, known as Sungnyemun Gate, in Seoul and it is the oldest and largest market in South Korea. Namdaemun Market is famous for its street food 'hotteok'.

7Namsangol Hanok Village
Located in the bosom of Namsan Mountain, Namsangol Hanok Village comprises five hanok buildings, the Gugakdang (traditional theater) and Traditional Garden. Namsangol Hanok Village is a collection of five hanoks (traditional Korean houses) from the Joseon Dynasty, recovered from different parts of the city and relocated to the northern foot of Namsan mountain.
