I is a monument located south of Pretoria city .Voortrekker monument it's a granite structure on its hilltop, was raised to commemorate the voortrekkers who left the cape colony between eighteen thirty five and 1854 .It was designed by Gerard Moerdyk ,it is a cultural museum for the afrikener people.
