After breakfast, you'll drive to Londorossi Gate where you'll complete registration formalities. Then, a short drive will take you to the Lemosho trailhead. The trek begins through rainforest to Big Tree Camp.

The trail continues through the rainforest, gradually steepening and entering the heath zone. You'll reach Shira Camp 1 for overnight stay.

Today's trek is relatively short, allowing for acclimatization. The trail ascends towards the Shira Plateau, offering stunning views of the mountain and surrounding landscapes.

You'll hike across the Shira Plateau to reach the junction leading to the Lava Tower. After a stop for acclimatization, descend to Barranco Camp via the scenic Barranco Wall.

The day begins with a climb up the Barranco Wall, which is easier than it looks. The trail then winds through valleys and ridges to Karanga Camp, with great views of the southern glacier of Kibo.

You'll trek through alpine desert terrain towards Barafu Camp. This campsite offers spectacular views of Mawenzi and the summit ridge. Rest and prepare for the final ascent.

Start in the early hours for the summit attempt, reaching Stella Point at sunrise. Continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa! Descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest, then continue down to Mweka Camp for overnight.
