This excursion invites you to discover the spirituality in the everyday life of the Balinese and to immerse yourself deeply in this faith during a blessing and purification ceremony. You take part in a genuine purification and blessing ceremony, guided by a Mangku, the Balinese priest, in secluded nature.
You will gain an insight into Balinese traditions, and your personal purification & blessing ceremony is intended to refresh body & mind and provide space for new experiences. The impact on nature, the local people, and their way of life remains minimal; instead, you have the opportunity to engage intensively with them and thus make a contribution to the preservation of authentic village structures.
Be part of this little paradise, walk through rice fields, meet village farmers, and see how nature, spirituality, and community remain closely intertwined here.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
You can reach Warung Balikaru from hotsprings (Air Panas) Belulang. Follow the Balikaru signs for an easy walk, about 25 min. uphill. We´re located opposite Bale Belajar. If you´ll like the tour including transfer from/to your accommodation, then simply book program with the code 419157P7.
What to expect
Begin with a walk through a lush spice & herb garden and explore tropical plants, spices, and herbs.
Listen to the bamboo instrument Rindik—now you're in the perfect mood for your purification ceremony: the team helps you to dress in Balinese temple clothes, and the Mangku, the local priest, awaits you at a sacred temple, located at a magical spot next to a secluded river. Your guide shares the meaning behind each ritual with you. Listen to the sound of the sacred bells and immerse yourself deep into the spiritual ceremony—an experience for a lifetime. Body and mind will be refreshed and give you space for new experiences.
Enjoy a homemade Balinese lunch at our authentic village warung, and in the afternoon, join a farmer in the rice fields, meet the animals at Balikaru farm, and chat with the villagers.
End your day at Belulang Hot Springs, where locals bathe in natural sulfur water—the perfect way to unwind before you say goodbye to this peaceful mountain village.
