Calling all foodies!! Come explore the best of the food and drink options available in the Black Isle and Inverness Areas! Travel in style in our luxury Mercedes Viano with onboard fridge, air conditioning and leather seats. This fully private tour will be tailored to your needs and will journey to some of the best food and drink establishments in the Highlands, explore the Black Isle brewery, the Victorian market, the great Glen Gin Distillery , Robertson’s the Larder and The Glen Ord whisky distillery. If you have any allergies or intolerances please let me know so I can tailor this tour perfectly for you. Your expert guide Emma will provide you with commentary, interesting food and drink stories along the way aswell as a couple of little surprises to ensure you get the absolute most out of your taste of the highlands experience!

Pickup details:

We offer pickup from any accommodation in Inverness and nearby, plus the Invergordon cruise ship port. For Cruise Passengers: You’ll need to take the shuttle bus from the port to Quay West (next to King Street), where I’ll meet you. It’s a short 200-yard walk to the vehicle. At tour’s end, I’ll drop you back at Quay West for the shuttle to your ship. Tours are scheduled to return at least one hour before your ship’s departure to ensure a timely return.

For cruise ship passengers, the arrangements have changed. Please take the shuttle bus. The shuttle will stop at Quay West, this is usually the first stop and beside King Street. When arriving by cruise ship your tour will be tailored to arrive back 1hr before the time the ship is due to depart.

    Captivate your taste buds with a quick tour around the wonderful Black Isle Brewery hidden away in a beautiful secluded spot on the Black Isle.

    Explore all the delights within the Victorian Market. The Market opened in 1870 and contains a wonderful array of boutique shops aswell as a fabulous food court which caters for all tastes. From Fish and Chips to Sushi, to the Bad Girl Bakery (for very naughty boys and girls), traditional street food, the whisky shop and many more options. The Victorian market also contains a wonderful sweet shop, butchers, fish market and a chocolatier which produces Scottish inspired chocolates. Admission free but cost of foods / lunch not included in the tour.

    Great Glen Distillery

    Travel from Inverness down the side of Loch Ness to the wonderful hidden gem that is the Great Glen Distillery! Scotlands smallest craft gin distillery which produces PREMIUM SCOTTISH GIN, which is made from the purest water sourced directly from Loch Ness in a one batch still named Jacqueline. A chance to sample some of the wonderful great glen gin. Free entry and tasting samples included in price of your tour.

    Stop off at this fabulous local produce shop to explore all the local delights on offer from the local cheese, to fresh strawberries, cakes, ice cream, biscuits, shortbread, tablet and soo much more. On site they also have some resident Highland Cows and Alpacas to see whilst enjoying a treat or two from the shop.

    The Singleton Distillery

    Enjoy a stop at the Singleton of Glen Ord Distillery to captivate your taste buds. This tour will take you on a deep dive into The Singleton’s signature ‘Slow Craft’ process, highlighting why and how our methods result in such a superior malt. Of course, it is all about the taste, and you’ll be given the opportunity to do just that when they serve up three unique expressions at the end of your tour.
