This shrine is known as Ebessan home to Ebisu, the god of commerce and wealth. Every year the Toka-Ebisu Festival is held in January and attracts large crowds over the 3 day event. The grounds are spacious with nice gardens, a tea house and a handful of shrine buildings located around the ground. Nishinomiya Shrine’s main hall is impressive with 2 horse statues either side.
