This is a Special Cooking Lesson to know Japanese culture in Nishinomiya area (one of the original places to produce sake - access : just 15 min. from Osaka , 10min. from Kobe by train).
The host is a specialist for food tourism in Japan for example about Japanese traditional cuisine, ingredients and knowledge of sake.
Let's go to a local supermarket and see the difference from your culture.

Appetizer with Seasonal Vegetable
Make Japanese small dish with "Dashi". "Dashi" is a traditional Japanese seasoning which is made from bonito or konbu kelp.
Sushi with fresh fish
Learn how to make a "Hand-rolled Sushi" with seasonal raw fish / egg / vegetables. Put whatever you like and make your own. Enjoy our "Sushi Party" !
Clay Pot Rice (For Sushi)
Cook Rice with our very traditional tool -Clay Pot-. This way makes the taste of rice really good.
Matcha Puddinng
Make a sweet pudding with our traditional tea "Macha".
Shukugawa station (Hankyu Railway) is only 15 min. direct ride from Osaka(Umeda) or 10 min. ride from Kobe(Sannomiya-st.). When you get off the train, please come to the SOUTH ticket gate. We will meet there. The place for cooking lesson is just 8 min. walk from the station.
