Then comes the reason you’re here. After a safety briefing, strap into a secure chair-style harness and launch down The Flying Dutchman — the world’s steepest zipline. Reach speeds of up to 56 mph as you descend 1,050 ft in elevation over a thrilling 2,800-ft ride back down the mountain.

Meeting and pickup
Please arrive directly at Rainforest Adventures St. Maarten – Rockland Estate at least 30 minutes before your selected tour time for check-in. Available tour times are 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM. Please arrive according to the time selected on your reservation.
What to expect
Begin at Rockland Estate, where you can discover the story of the estate at the Emilio Wilson Museum before heading up the mountain.
Board the Soualiga Sky Explorer for a scenic ride on two chairlifts spanning a total of 2,997 ft, as panoramic views of St. Maarten and the Caribbean unfold below.
At the top, receive your safety briefing and prepare for the highlight: The Flying Dutchman, the world’s steepest zipline. Secured in a chair-style harness, launch down the mountain on an exhilarating 2,800-ft flight with a 1,050-ft elevation drop before returning to Rockland Estate.
The complete experience takes approximately 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on attendance and wait times at the park.
