Meeting and pickup
SEVEN MILE BEACH HOTEL GUESTS
Pickup is available only within the Seven Mile Beach area. Please provide your full hotel name at the time of booking. Your exact pickup time will be provided once your reservation is confirmed.
Please be ready in the hotel lobby at the confirmed time. The driver will wear a polo shirt with the company logo and call your name upon arrival. Drivers can wait a maximum of five minutes.
CAPTAIN MARVIN’S DOCK
If no hotel information is provided at the time of booking, you are arriving independently, or your accommodation is outside the pickup area, meet directly at Captain Marvin’s Dock on Raleigh Quay. Please arrive 30 minutes before departure.
KAIBO DOCK
Guests staying on the eastern side of the island may meet directly at Kaibo Dock. Your meeting time will be confirmed after booking.
The tour departs at approximately 6:30 PM during summer and 5:30 PM during winter. Your exact meeting or pickup time will be provided with your booking confirmation.

Arrive at this peaceful corner of the island as the sun begins to set. Known for its clear, shallow water and colorful sea stars, Starfish Point feels worlds away from Grand Cayman’s busier beaches. Step into the warm water, take in the golden coastline, and observe colorful sea stars beneath the surface in their natural habitat. Hidden within this peaceful corner of Grand Cayman is a secluded bioluminescent bay where millions of microscopic organisms illuminate the water with every movement. Grand Cayman is one of the world’s most spectacular destinations for experiencing this rare natural phenomenon. Watch the bay glow from the boat or enter the water for an optional swim, moving your hands beneath the surface as flashes of blue-green light shimmer around you under the Caribbean night sky. - Tour Duration: Total tour time includes pickup and return transportation. The boat experience lasts approximately two hours from dock to dock.
- Hotel Information: Pickup is available only from selected accommodations within the Seven Mile Beach corridor. Provide your full hotel name at the time of booking to arrange transportation.
- Captain Marvin’s Dock: Guests outside the pickup area, arriving independently, or without hotel information provided at booking must meet at Captain Marvin’s Dock on Raleigh Quay 15 minutes before departure.
- Kaibo Meeting Point: Guests staying near Cayman Kai, Rum Point, or the eastern side of the island may meet at Kaibo Restaurant Pier. Arrive 15 minutes before the confirmed departure time.
- Optional Swimming: Entering the Bioluminescent Bay is optional. Guests may enjoy the phenomenon from the boat instead.
- Protect Bio Bay: Guests choosing to swim must not apply sunscreen, insect repellent, lotions, oils, or other skin products before entering the water, as these substances can damage the bay’s fragile ecosystem.
- Natural Phenomenon: Bioluminescence varies in brightness and intensity each night according to natural conditions, making every visit different.
- mages: Photos are for illustrative purposes and are often captured with professional equipment under optimal conditions. The glow visible during your visit may appear different.
- Children Under 3: Flotation devices are not available for children under three. Parents or guardians must bring an appropriate flotation device.
- Wildlife: Sea stars and other marine animals must remain underwater and may not be touched, lifted, or removed from their natural habitat.
- Equipment: A snorkel, mask, and life vest are provided. Fins are not included.
- What to Bring: Bring a swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes.
- Food & Drinks: Guests may bring their own food and beverages. Glass containers are not permitted onboard.
- Weather: The tour operates rain or shine. Please check the forecast and come prepared.
- Weather Protection: If the Port Authority closes the port due to adverse weather conditions, choose between rescheduling your tour or receiving a full refund.
- Late Arrivals & No-Shows: Late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable.
