This unique program will connect you with authentic locals and their mission to protect the island. You will gain a good understanding of our culture and our conservation activities. Experienced conservationists will take you to different habitats and the most gorgeous places on two islands. Together we will experience the pure pleasure of doing good and connect with the deep roots of the island. We will teach at our local school, play with the local kids and do a beach cleanup. During the week, you alone will plant around 70 corals and at least 10 mangrove trees, which will remain on our island as your personal legacy.

The trip includes your boat from Bali to Nusa Penida and pick-up from whichever harbor you choose just contact us a few days before you get here and we will be happy to help. We will transport you to our resort where your bungalow and a refreshing pool is waiting for you.

What to expect

We offer you the opportunity to gain great insights and hands-on experience in conservation activities. Our activities are thoughtfully combined with sightseeing, offering a well-rounded experience that balances tourism with sustainability, ensuring a fulfilling vacation and lasting memories. You will actively restore coral reefs, plant new mangroves, educate the children in Nusa Penida's schools, and farm seaweed. Besides doing something valuable for nature and the locals, you will experience the great hospitality of the community group and our marvelous Balinese traditions. We are excited to visit our favorite spots with you and enjoy activities like snorkeling with manta rays!
