This is a chance to challenge yourself, discover the vibrant underwater world, and take home memories (and potentially dinner!) that are as authentic as Hawaii itself. What to expect

Your spearfishing lesson begins with a 45-minute, on-shore master class where you’ll learn fundamental skills, gear safety, and how to identify native and invasive reef fish. After suiting up and reviewing responsible diving practices, you’ll hit the water for a two-hour guided spearfishing session, practicing everything you’ve learned amid colorful Hawaiian reefs. During the final 15 minutes, celebrate with team photos and a Q&A session; if you land a fish, your guide will bag it so you can enjoy your own “catch of the day” at home.

Please note, the lesson is focused on instruction and sustainable practices, not catch-and-cook; whether you reel in dinner or not, you’ll leave with new abilities, fascinating stories, and a deeper respect for Hawaii’s marine life heritage.
