I aim to give guests a unique experience of Table Mountain that they may not be able to have even hiking with other locals.

As a climber, experienced hiker and keen explorer of our backyard mountain, I aim to facilitate your own adventure.

Depending on your levels of fitness, appetite for adventure and interests we can custom make an experience that you wouldn't be able to do alone, or even with a local.

Perhaps it's a secret sunset spot, an unusual solitary path, an adventurous scramble, exploring hidden caves or going deep into the indigenous forests of the mountain, hiking with an experienced mountain guide means you need fear getting lost, and can take on challenges, you never thought possible.

As a keen student of South African history, we can also stop to explore the hidden secrets and historic landmarks of the mountain along the way.

What to expect

Let's customize your Table Mountain experience to match your preferences and abilities. There are so many incredible routes to choose from. We can tackle the classic and imposing India Venster, offering breathtaking views and a real sense of accomplishment. Or perhaps you'd like to see the mountain from a local's perspective on an off the beaten path route like the scenic coastal 'Pipeline' trail. If you're a nature lover, I highly recommend hiking through the indigenous forests to a stunning mountain beach via the Skeleton Gorge trail. Alternatively, let's take in the mesmerizing Atlantic view from the diving board rock on the Kasteelpoort route. Whatever your desires—adventure, scenic views, flora, or historic landmarks—we'll create an experience tailored for you.

Depending on your schedule and preferences, I offer both full-day trips and shorter excursions. At the end of our adventure, you can choose to descend either by cableway or on foot, allowing you to savour the breathtaking scenery at your own pace.
