The idea of this tour is to provide an affordable experience where you can visit the best sites in Sintra and visit one of its most beautiful palaces, which isn´t one of the most visited monuments. Not only will you visit a palace, but you will visit two iconic towns, Sintra and Cascais and explore its beautiful coastline and enjoy the spectacular views from the Peninha Convent.
Important to mention, during winter or rainy periods views maybe be hindered by the weather.

Meeting and pickup
This is the 2nd last stop to Sintra when you are coming from Lisbon. You must get out on the platform side that heads to Lisbon. We meet by the taxi rank. It is easier to meet here than at the last stop. Then we will take you to all the spots on the tour.

We visit one of the most beautiful palaces in Sintra. Slightly secluded from the town, it offers you a sense of peace and beauty.

2Centro Historico de Sintra
We will explore the historical centre of Sintra, a UNESCO Heritage site where you will be able to see several palaces and a the Moorish Castle from the town.

3Azenhas do Mar
A beautiful little village on the coast, almost like a miniature version of Italy´s Amalfi coast.

4Cabo da Roca
The most western point of mainland Europe. At cliffs of 140m above sea level you can gaze towards the endless Atlantic Ocean.

5Santuario da Peninha

Guincho Beach (Pass by)
A spectacular beach with scenic landscape surrounding it on the way to Cascais.

6Cascais
A beautiful beach town still with its fishing industry. Immerse yourself in this cute beach side town. This is where the tour ends, so you can stay as long as you prefer after the guide has shown you around. From here there is another train station where you may return to Lisbon.
