The island has an area of 110 square kilometers and is inhabited by around 1,200 people. Their main occupation is fishing and tourism. It is a protected nature reserve, so construction has not been permitted for years.
The beaches of Saona Island are a haven of tranquility, with white, crystal-clear sand surrounded by palm and coconut trees. The island, with a rocky landscape, is home to caves and grottos that hide valuable archaeological sites from the Taino era.
Defined by its visitors as "a must-see in the Dominican Republic", Saona Island stands out for its pristine beaches, rich history, idyllic landscapes and vibrant seabeds. In addition, you can explore picturesque fishing villages, discover historic caves and visit one of the most important turtle nesting sites in the country.

Meeting and pickup
The pick-up service will be at the main entrance of the place where you are staying (whether it is a hotel, hostel, Airbnb, or other type of accommodation). You will easily recognize us because we will be identified with the logo of our tourist company, to avoid confusion with other tours. IMPORTANT: The maximum waiting time is 10 minutes. What to expect
Set sail, sailing through blue waters towards the island's pristine shores. Stay hydrated throughout the day with refreshments and enjoy our cocktails, we will have a 45-minute stop at the beautiful Natural Pool, where crystal-clear waters and starfish await you.
Upon arrival at Saona Island, enjoy almost 3 hours of free time. Sunbathe on the white sands or bring your snorkeling gear to dive into the coral reef. Replenish your energy with a delicious buffet lunch served at 1:00 p.m.
As evening falls, we will enjoy the catamaran ride back to Bayahibe with music and dancing and finally, we will take you back to your hotel, thus concluding an incredible 6-hour day full of relaxation, partying and fun.
