On the way to Berat visitors will make a stop to Belshi Lake which is a tranquil freshwater lake in central Albania, surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery—an ideal spot for a relaxing break with scenic views.
Berat Castle crowns the UNESCO-protected city of Berat, offering panoramic views and a journey through centuries of history. Known as the “City of a Thousand Windows,” Berat captivates with its well-preserved Ottoman architecture and vibrant cultural charm.
On the way back to Tirana, about 13 km from Berat City we will stop at Cobo Winery, a golden opportunity for you to explore and taste Albanian high-quality wines by using local grape varieties.

Meeting and pickup
If the travellers require transportation from the hotel to the meeting point, they must specify their own pick-up point in advance via E-mail or i they can directly text through WhatsApp, iMessage or Telegram. Each traveller must be ready 30 minutes before departure considering the traffic and collection of all the group together. The car model Land Rover (dark grey colour, registration plate AA074KV) will park in front of their hotel (agreed pickup point) before departure. After the activity all travellers will be returned to the initial pick-up point. The pickup and drop off are offered at no extra cost only within the general area indicated. To know if your hotel is included in the following, please insert your hotel name in the field where it prompts you before booking.

About 40 min away from Tirana, on our way to Berat we will be doing about 30 min stop in Belsh, which is known for its beautiful lakes and endless hills. Here will be having a quick pit stop for the use of facilities, a quick leg stretch and take in the beautiful panorama.

2Berat Castle
Berat Castle is a fortress overlooking the town of Berat. It is built on a rocky hill on the left bank of the river Osum. It is situated at an elevation of 214 metres. This will be the first attraction we visit in Berat right after Belsh, approximately 1h 20min away. The fortress in its present state, even though considerably damaged, remains a magnificent sight. The buildings inside the fortress were built during the 13th century and because of their characteristic architecture are preserved as cultural monuments.

3National Iconographic Museum Onufri
This museum is located within Berat Castle. The museum was named to honor Onufri, a painting Headmaster of the 16th century. Here you will get to admire beautifully carved Iconostasis at the Onufri Museum inside the castle

4Berat
Berat is a UNESCO protected world heritage site. Enjoy some free time to sightsee independently and shop for souvenirs while enjoying what the city has to offer. During this time you can take a quick stop for lunch. Lunch will be at your own charge in whatever local spot you choose to go. We will meet back in the designated spot that will be decided on the day in Berat city centre and then we will had back towards Tirana which will be around 2 hour drive back.

Cobo Winery, located in the Berat region of Albania, is a family-owned estate renowned for its traditional winemaking practices. Established in the early 20th century, the winery produces high-quality wines using local grape varieties, including the rare and indigenous Pules grape.
