Start at the Dubai Frame in Zabeel Park. Ride up to the 150-metre Sky Deck, walk across the glass-floor bridge and look over old Dubai to the north and the modern skyline to the south. On the way down, visit the Dubai Past gallery and the Future Dubai experience.

Then head to Dubai Miracle Garden in Al Barsha South, home to more than 150 million flowers shaped into heart tunnels, floral castles, umbrellas and a full-size Emirates A380 covered in blooms. The garden is open in the cooler season, roughly October to May.
