Telavi: Mimino and wine. In the capital of Kakheti, you’ll recall a character from the legendary film, see a 1,000-year-old plane tree, and visit the palace of King Erekle II. Afterward, you’ll taste 8 types of wine and chacha in a wine cellar while a sommelier explains the unique Georgian winemaking traditions, which differ significantly from those in other countries.
