The feeling of climbing straight above the sea is not something you get on many other Via Ferratas or climbing routes elsewhere. Having lunch with your feet dangling several hundred meters above the sea, while ships are passing below and eagles are flying on the same height, makes for for an incredible experience. The route offers varied climbing, accommodation both seasoned rock climbers and active people wanting a challenge.

What's Included

Use of the Via Ferrata
Via Ferrata equipment: Helmet, harness and VF-set
Personal equipment such as good hiking boots, backpack and outdoor clothing.

Please meet at Hornelen Via Ferrata Basecamp, situated by the parkinglot and the beginning of the trail up to Hornelen

End point
This activity ends back at the meeting point.

What to expect

We will take you on a Via Ferrata adventure up the Wall of Witches, consisting of hiking along the shoreline, before climbing straight above the sea. The route ends half way up the mountain. This is our moderate route, graded to C/D on the Via Ferrata-scale ranging from A-F. The heights and spectacular views will definitly get your blood pumping and create an experience you will not soon forget.
