Former fishing village, in recent decades it has become a peaceful vacation spot and a place of inspiration for many painters. This beach, of only thirty meters wide, is so small that it practically disappears at high tide. However, its splendid landscape, with white houses perched on the cliffs overlooking the sea, became a must see tourist destination for anyone visiting the Sintra region.
