Our horseback riding experience offers travelers a unique journey through the picturesque Atlas Mountains and authentic Berber villages, far from the usual tourist paths. Unlike other rides, we tailor the adventure to your skill level—whether you’re a beginner enjoying a gentle, scenic ride or an experienced rider seeking an immersive exploration of local culture. With breathtaking landscapes, the charm of Berber traditions, and carefully cared-for horses, this experience promises not just a ride but a meaningful connection to Morocco’s rich heritage.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pick-up offered From any hotel or Riad in Marrakech. Or the closest parking to your Riad. Please you should to fill your mobile phone number and email address in your booking form, to get the exact pickup time and location. Please check your mail and your WhatsApp messages.
The meeting point is at Argana Café, located in Znikat Rahba beside Jemaâ El Fna Square in Marrakech. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure a smooth departure. Look for our guide, who will be call you by your name .
What to expect
After a short safety introduction, set out on a ride through beautiful landscapes — lush valleys, olive groves, and almond orchards. Ride through Berber villages in the Atlas Mountains and discover the local way of life.
At the end, visit a women’s cooperative to learn about argan oil production and enjoy Moroccan tea in a Berber house before returning to Marrakech.
We offer three riding options for every level:
• 1-hour ride: Perfect for beginners who want a relaxed experience.
• 2.5-hour ride: For riders with experience. If you’re not confident or haven’t ridden before, this option can be challenging, as it requires keeping rhythm with the group.
• 5-hour ride: For experienced riders comfortable spending several hours on horseback and exploring deeper into the Atlas Mountains.
This half-day adventure offers the perfect mix of nature, culture, and exploration.
