This is a great opportunity to learn about sake and Japanese culture. Sake tasting and snacks from various regions of Japan will be served. Guides will provide explanations in English and Japanese, with additional translation equipment for explanations in other languages, so everyone is welcome to participate.

During the tasting, you will learn about the different types of sake, how they are made, and how they pair with food. You will also have the opportunity to taste a variety of sake, including Daiginjo, Ginjo, and Junmai sake. The snacks served are carefully selected to complement the sake and enhance the overall taste experience.

This experience is a great way to learn about Japanese culture and experience the unique flavors of sake. It is also a great opportunity to meet other sake enthusiasts.

Karasuma Rock (Japanese Style Chicken Yakiniku Restaurant) 191 Kitamachi, Rokujo, Karasuma-dori, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City It takes about 2 minutes to walk from Gojo Station, Exit 5, which is located on the Karasuma Line of the Subway. Walking from JR Kyoto Station Exit 6 takes around 14 minutes.

What to expect

Experience 9 carefully selected sakes and snacks from all over Japan.

During the experience, visitors will learn about sake production areas, types, characteristics, production methods, and how to read labels.

The average duration of the experience is approximately 1.5 hours.

Our restaurant is conveniently located near JR Kyoto Station and Gojo Subway Station. It is an ideal place to start sightseeing in the area.

Guides will provide explanations in Japanese and English. For other languages, translation devices will be used to assist communication.
