Our high-mountain flight: take off at Izaña, up to 2,250 m near Mount Teide, and glide down a drop of over 2,000 m to the coast, sometimes above a sea of clouds.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Free pickup and drop-off is included for hotels and apartments in south and west Tenerife, from Los Gigantes to El Médano.
Please be ready at your accommodation about 30 minutes before your start time. After you book, send your hotel name or full address in a Viator message so we can confirm your exact pickup time.
Meet in front of McDonald's, next to Leroy Merlin on Av. de Ayyo in Adeje. Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time. Friends who are not flying can wait at the landing zone in the Playa Paraíso or La Caleta area. Ask us on the day where to stand; the wind decides the landing spot.
What to expect
Your flight at a glance
• About 25 minutes in the air (weather permitting), usually over the Orotava Valley
• On some days, a sea of clouds below you
• Usually lands on a beach on the north coast (Puerto de la Cruz area); some days the east coast
• About 3 hours in total, including at least 2 hours of driving
• No experience needed: your pilot flies the wing
How it works
1. Free hotel pickup from Los Gigantes to El Médano
2. Drive up to Izaña (bring a warm layer: it's usually 5–10 °C colder)
3. Safety briefing, helmet and a harness with a reserve parachute
4. A few running steps and you're airborne
5. Land near the coast and we drive you back south
We confirm the day before and check the mountain weather again that morning. If Izaña can't fly: another day, Performance with the difference refunded or a video package, or a full refund.
