At Taba, we are a third-generation family-run business dedicated to producing the highest quality Georgian tea in the heart of the Guria region. With deep respect for the centuries-old traditions of Georgian tea making, we combine time-tested craftsmanship with modern technology to produce and deliver the best products.
Our story begins almost a century ago, with tea plantations planted in the subtropical landscape of Guria. At the heart of the estate stands the 120-year-old Guri Oda Tea House, where history and hospitality come together. Guests are invited to experience the charm of this traditional house, explore the subtropical gardens, and enjoy a tea-tasting experience that promises them a journey through the rich flavors of Georgian tea and history. At Taba, each leaf is hand-picked and processed to preserve its natural flavor and aroma, making Taba tea more than just a beverage; it is a journey into the vibrant culture and tradition of Georgia.

What to expect
The tour, lasting two hours, begins with a guided visit to our century-old tea plantations, where you will learn about the traditional methods of hand-picking and shaping tea leaves. Following this, the next portion of the tour includes a visit to our production facility, allowing you to observe the machinery and production line that transform the leaves into our premium teas.
The tour culminates in an exclusive tea-tasting session led by our expert tea master, where you will sample three different varieties of tea, each with its own unique flavor profile.
Our tours are available in Georgian, English, and Russian.
Tours are offered daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we encourage advance booking to secure your spot.
