Gyeongju was capital of Silla dynasty. It's during 5th~7th century.
First, we will visit Unecso cultural heritage site,Bulguksa temple.
Second, we will visit Gyochon village and Woljeonggyo bridge.
Third, Deareongwon ancient tombs and Cheomseongdea observatory. Fourth, Donggung palce and wolji pond.

Woljeonggyo bridge There is love story between Wonhyo monk and Yosuk princess at Woljeonggyo bridge. It is said that only high class people like noble could pass by the bridge. Night view is very beautiful at here.
Gyochon village There used to be a national university in Gyochon village at Sinla dynasty. The name of the national university was Gukhak in Sinla dynasty. There is Mr Choi family’s house in Gyochon village. Hanbok experience is included at Gyochon village.
Hwanglidan street. Hwanglidan street is hot place among young generation. There are cafes, restaurants, bakeries, clothing stores and so on.
Bulguksa Temple is said to have been started by Prime Minister Kim Daeseong under King Gyeongdeok of Silla in 751, and was completed by the government after his death. Most of the buildings were burned down during the Japanese invasions. The current temple was finished after years of excavations and renovations. Bulguksa temple and Suckguram grotto was the 1st Unesco cultural heritage site in Korea. They were designated as Unesco cultural heritage site in 1995.
Cheomsungdea observatory is the national treasure No. 31. It was built at 7th century. They watched stars at the sky through Cheomsungdea observatory. 27th Queen (Sunduck queen) in Sinla dynasty built Cheomsungdea observatory. It is the oldest astronomical observatory in the world.
This place is Where Silla's ancient tombs are and are considered as symbols of Silla. The ancient tombs are like museums. Total 23 tombs are in the park. They are kings , queens and noble's one.
Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond (Historic Site No. 18) After Silla unified the Three Kingdoms, a large pond was dug. It was established in the 19th year of King Munmu (A.D. 679). Donggung was the banquet site for important national events and important visitors. This was a place where King Gyeongsun held a reception for Wang Geon to request help. Donggung palace was where a prince used to stay. Dongggung palace and Wolji pond were restored in the 1980s and remain to the present day.
