Getting lost in its streets is fascinating, but even more beautiful is the view that allows you to admire... it leaves you breathless!
We will continue to Segesta (time available 1h30) for a visit to the Doric Temple in all its beauty and the Hellenistic Theatre considered one of the most beautiful of the classical period, both for its excellent state of preservation and for its spectacular position on the Gulf of Castellammare. Entrance ticket not included. Along the way there is a stop at a well-known pastry shop for the tasting of the most famous cannoli of the province.
The meeting will be in the hotel lobby
We will stop in Dattilo, a small hamlet in the Trapani area, where the largest and most renowned Sicilian cannoli on the island are made. Delicious and prepared respecting tradition; the raw material of Sicilian cannoli is ricotta obtained from sheep's milk, which is then roughly processed and seasoned with very black chocolate chips and a little sugar. The fried crust is very thin and narrow and is suitable for putting a large amount of ricotta on the ends.
You will have 1h30 available for a free tour of the Temple and the Theatre. Entrance ticket NOT included Guides in different languages are available on site, for a fee
Unmissable stages of an itinerary in Sicily. Erice is a small medieval village and is made up of narrow cobblestone streets. It is mainly closed to car traffic, the only way to visit it is on foot. Don't miss a visit to the Mother Church and Bell Tower, the Church of San Martino, Piazza della Loggia, the Castle of Venus, but above all you shouldn't miss a stop at a pastry shop to taste typical convent desserts.
