In the morning, you go by car to Erg Lihoudi through the Draa Valley. After the presentation of your team of camel guides and the preparations, we begin our trek in the Moroccan desert towards Mozmo. We will set up camp at night near the small dunes. Dinner with a small nomadic animation (Sahrawi songs and dances).
Early in the morning, we continue our trek in the Moroccan desert towards Oued Naam (the ostrich river). Lunch on the way. In the afternoon, the caravan continues on its way to reach the dunes. Small tea ceremony at sunset and preparation with the camel drivers of your tajine for dinner under the stars. The night takes you, the emotion is intense. Night under the tent
At sunrise, Bedouin breakfast around the embers of the day before, then continuation of the caravan towards Oued Laatach (river of thirst). Lunch in the middle of the desert. Tasting of a mint tea on the small sand dunes. Dinner under the stars. You will enjoy the legendary silence of the desert and spend the night in a tent.
The Méharée continues its expedition through the desert. Picnic for lunch. Setting up camp for the night and preparing dinner with the camel drivers. The evening begins with a big campfire. We can then share these moments which mix Saharawi nomadic dances and songs. We take advantage of these precious moments under the stars. The trek in the Moroccan desert is done by camel or on foot according to your choice. The Méharée is always accompanied by local cameleers who know their territory well. No technical difficulty throughout this journey (5 to 6 hours maximum of hiking per day depending on your physical condition). The food is prepared on site: bread baked in the sand, tajine, Moroccan salad, unlimited nomadic tea, fruit (orange and apples), etc.
After breakfast, the caravan takes the road to M’Hamid, it is the end of the trek in the Moroccan desert. Transfer to Zagora around 11am.
