Wreck Diving Specialty Course. Expand your range of underwater exploration.
Dive in and learn how to safely explore the wrecks of history.
Includes 2 x tank dives, gear hire, online theory and your instructor.
Suitable for certified divers only.

You'll have to complete the dive medical declaration before participating in any in-water activities, and might need to be signed off by a dive doctor before being allowed to dive.

Meeting point

We'll confirm meeting time + location after booking as this depends on the wreck we're diving. Expect a meeting time of 8:00am at the shop if we dive locally, or 9:15am in Tutukaka if we dive the Waikato wreck. Please contact us before booking, if you'd like to know the location beforehand.

What to expect

Dives exploring the past are exhilarating! Many of the ocean's best dive sites have artificial reefs, or wrecks that have sunk through the ages. This program gives you the skills and knowledge required to safely scuba dive above and around these underwater treasures. You will earn the acclaimed SDI or SSI Wreck Diving certification after completing this program.

Suggested Duration:6 - 10 hours
