Come and see elephants in the most ethical way - in their natural habitat. Immerse yourself in hill-tribe culture by staying and cooking in a traditional hill-tribe homestay and learning the basic skills that have been passed down through their generation such as basket weaving and bamboo cup making. Hike through the jungle to find the elephants and spend the day with them. Eat lunch with our elephants in the forest and then return to Chiang Mai in the afternoon.

In the carpark
Get picked up at our meeting point and drive through the beautiful Doi Inthanon national park, Thailands tallest mountain, to reach our village and sanctuary
Stop off at Mae Chaem for lunch before getting back in the truck to complete the journey to our village.
Reach our village and meet your homestay family, our friendly staff and the other volunteers, immerse yourself in hill tribe culture by cooking with your homestay and learning how to basket weave from one of the elders in the village.
Wake up early to hike in the forest and find our elephants. Spend all morning and afternoon observing and learning about them and their natural behaviors. Have lunch in the forest with the elephants and return to Chiang Mai in the afternoon.
