After being picked up from your hotel in Fethiye, board an air-conditioned bus to Ortaca, where you'll transfer to your riverboat.

The Dalyan river flows from Köyceğiz Lake to Turtle Beach, also known as Iztuzu Beach. As you navigate the river, you can see ancient Lycian tombs, which are around 2,000 years old, carved into the cliffs above the historic harbor city of Kaunos. Established around the 9th century BC, Kaunos gained significance as a prominent city in Caria around 400 BC, and the rock-cut tombs were reserved for the royal figures of Kaunos.

Once you reach Turtle Beach, you will have the opportunity to sunbathe, swim, and unwind. The beach is off-limits to the public from May to September to safeguard the endangered loggerhead turtles.

Conclude your day with a revitalizing outdoor mud bath at Köyceğiz Lake before heading back to your hotel in Fethiye.

We get on our boats in Dalyan and go to our first stop, the junction point of Dalyan and Köyceğiz Lake, and pause here for 10 minutes to be informed about the interesting history of Köyceğiz Lake. Then, with a short boat ride, we go to Sultaniye Mud Bath right on the shore of the lake. Sultaniye Thermal Spring / Mud Bath, which has been the oldest and most active bath in the region for thousands of years since the Lycian period, is described as the best among the mud baths in the region. There are several hot water pools here that smell strongly of sulfur, and these pools have many healing properties. When you enter these pools, you will feel like you are reborn, your skin will feel younger and smoother, and you will feel more relaxed and healthy as toxins are removed from your body.
