1Medina of Fez
Your 3-day Fes to Marrakech desert tour begins by picking up all travelers from a meeting point in the Medina of Fes.

2Ifrane
Our first destination is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its clean streets and alpine-style houses. We will stop here for a short walk and photos.

3Azrou
After leaving Ifrane, we drive into the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop at the famous Cedar Forest, home to friendly wild Barbary monkeys. Great place for photos.

4Midelt
We stop in Midelt for lunch (not included). After lunch, we continue driving through the stunning Ziz Valley with panoramic views of palm-tree oases.

5Merzouga
Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, where your camel guide will be waiting. From here, you will begin a beautiful camel ride across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes — the highest dunes in Morocco. Along the way, enjoy stunning desert views and stop to watch an unforgettable sunset from the top of the dunes. Upon arriving at your luxury desert camp, you will be welcomed with Moroccan tea. You will have time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Sahara. In the evening, a traditional Moroccan dinner will be served, followed by Berber music and drumming around the campfire. You will spend the night in a private luxury tent equipped with comfortable beds, private bathroom, and hot water. Stargazing in the desert is a magical experience, with some of the clearest skies in Morocco.

6Merzouga
Wake up early for the sunrise — highly recommended. After enjoying breakfast at the camp, you will leave Merzouga by camel or 4x4 to meet your driver and continue the journey.

We will stop to visit the ancient Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Morocco’s most iconic fortified village. Your guide will explain its rich history and why it was used as a filming location for many famous movies and TV series.
