Why choose this walking tour?
Because taxis miss half the fun! On foot, you’ll stroll from the lively United Nations Square to chic Art Deco boulevards, lose (and find!) yourself in the Old Medina, and end up wowed at the Hassan II Mosque. Add a mint tea break and you’ve got the perfect mix of culture, laughs, and steps for your fitness tracker. ♂️☕️
I can meet you at your hotel if it’s down town.
We’ll kick things off at the buzzing United Nations Square, where trams zip by, pigeons think they own the place, and locals somehow manage to cross the street with Olympic-level skill. Don’t worry—we’ll guide you through the chaos like pros.
From there, we’ll strut down the city’s famous Art Deco boulevards—Casablanca’s answer to Paris, but with more sunshine and better mint tea. As you admire the quirky colonial façades, keep an eye out for hidden details, like balconies shaped for Romeo-and-Juliet moments or cafés that still look straight out of the 1930s. It’s history with a side of Instagram.
Let’s dodge some pigeons while admiring the mixture of french and moorish architecture.
Walk by a few places before reaching the Cathedral of Casablanca where they no longer do services but events and sometimes business or even musical events !
Walk by either outside the old city on the ocean side and check a Moroccan Mall or inside the old medina and check some small shops for souvenirs.
Finally, we’ll make our way to the grand finale: the Hassan II Mosque, Morocco’s ultimate showstopper perched dramatically by the Atlantic Ocean. With its towering minaret, ocean views, and “yes, this is real” architecture, it’s the kind of place where even your camera gets goosebumps.
