As an American and former frequent flyer to Paris, I understand the anxieties of visiting Paris for the first time. After years of work I have created this unique tour and I invite you to join me and discover the true Paris and its past.
Come and embark on a captivating journey through the heart of Paris. We'll trace a scenic path that unfolds its historical charm beginning at Fontaine Saint Michel. Here you'll be oriented with the geography of the city and be greeted by the beautiful entrance into the Latin Quarter. After this you'll stroll along the Seine's promenade and discover the charm of the Bouqanistes that flank the river. But this tour isn't only sightseeing. You will leave the tour with stories of drama hidden in the walls of the Louvre, and learn about the layered past of Notre Dame and how it will continue to unfold into the future.

We will begin our tour at the beautiful fountain of Saint Michel. Here I will tell you why Paris looks like the way it does today, and lay out some context for our following stops.

Here we will talk about the historic origins of Paris, and introduce some historical figures that played a role in creating the beautiful cathedral

3Sainte-Chapelle
Here we will meet the little sister of Notre Dame. We'll talk about its royal significance, and the crown of thorns, and its miraculous survival.

4Palais-Royal
We'll talk about this former royal palace, former jail of Marie Antoinette, and the gorgeous clock that has kept Paris' time for over 650 years.

5Pont Neuf
We will meet the most endeared and enduring bridge of Paris. We'll talk about its charming arches, the beautiful garden below, and you'll learn about the fate of one criminal on Pont Neuf.

6Pont des Arts
We'll meet the iconic love lock bridge, and its impression upon the city. Here we will also be introduced to our next stop. Le Louvre.

7Louvre Museum
Here we will enter the much more quiet Cour Carree. You'll learn the different incarnations of what we now know as the Louvre Museum. You'll be intrigued by the story of a theft, a revolution, and lovers.

8Carrousel du Louvre
We will end our wonderful tour with the histories of the people that played a role in creating the gardens of the Tuileries and the Eiffel Tower.
