Rodrigo Bueno is a model Barrio Popular internationally that demonstrates how an informal settlement can be urbanized in a sustainable way, with a focus on the social integration of migrants. It has a rich diversity of people from different cultures who live together surrounded by a green space and a few meters from Puerto Madero.
You will be able to know the heart of a Popular Neighborhood and ask everything you want to know about how people live, what they work for and how are the dynamics of collaboration between neighbors, the Government, NGOs and companies.
The neighborhood is safe, has top quality infrastructure and free parking.

We will see the former Sports City of Club Boca, the Coastal Border that is in the process of development, the monument to the artist Rodrigo Bueno and why he is paid homage, and we will tour the streets of the neighborhood to learn about its history and culture.

We will learn about the mix of Latin cultures that coexist there and how the urbanization process was developed with a focus on social integration and sustainability. We will learn about the different initiatives that are generated together with NGOs, the Government, neighbors and neighbors to promote the process of social integration of migrants to the City, and we will know what the day-to-day life of a Popular Neighborhood is like.

We will visit some of the socio-productive projects promoted together with the City Government, such as La Vivera, an agroecological nursery specialized in native plants, vegetables and agroecological flowers. There we will be able to carry out a workshop on plantations, composting or native plants (to coordinate with the group previously).

If you take the tour on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, we will visit the Patio Rodrigo Bueno, a gastronomic patio that combines flavors and cultures, where you can taste native homemade food from different Latin American countries. If you take the tour between Monday and Thursday, I will invite you to discover other renowned gastronomic ventures in the neighborhood.
