Morning - start your day with a visit to the National Museum to see the famous fossil "Lucy" and other archaeological treasures. After the museum, head to Holy Trinity Cathedral to explore its impressive architecture and beautiful stained glass windows and the tombs of Emperor haileselase and his wife. Lunch - enjoy traditional Ethiopian cuisine at a local restaurant. Injera with various stews is a must-try! Afternoon - spend your afternoon wandering through the bustling Merkato market, one of the largest open-air markets in Africa. It's a vibrant place to experience local life and shop for souvenirs. Evening - head to the Entoto Mountains to catch a stunning sunset and panoramic views of the city. You can also visit Emperor Menelik II's palace and the St. Mary's Church.

2Debre Libanos Orthodox Church
Morning - leave your accommodation and head towards Debre Libanos Monastery. The journey can take around 2-3 hours. Debre Libanos Monastery - one of Ethiopia's most important religious sites. Spend time exploring the monastery complex, which includes ancient churches, chapels, and stunning views of the surrounding landscape and a timeless museum. Visit the Portuguese Bridge - the bridge is a historical landmark and offers a great opportunity for photography and enjoying the scenic beauty of the Blue Nile Gorge. Lunch - enjoy local restaurants or cafes nearby to experience Ethiopian cuisine. Nature walk or hike - take a walk in the area.
