Chacchoben + Bacalar: Sailing or The Rapids
Your adventure begins at Costa Maya Cruise Port, where our driver will pick you up at the agreed time. We will visit the Mayan Ruins of Chacchoben, with its impressive pyramids and plazas surrounded by jungle. Hopefully, you will be able to see monkeys and birds.
Afterward, we will visit Bacalar and its Lagoon of Seven Colors, where you can choose between two experiences:
⛵ Option 1: Sailing in Bacalar
Sail through the lagoon, visit the Pirate Canal and the Black Cenote, swim in crystal clear waters and enjoy cold beer, water, guacamole, and fruit.
Option 2: The Fast Ones
Float and relax in its turquoise waters surrounded by nature. You can also enjoy its restaurant and beach club.
Return to the port
We will adapt the itinerary to your cruise schedule to return to Costa Maya with enough time before its departure.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
After disembarking from your cruise, our driver will be waiting for you outside the port of Costa Maya, in Mahahual, with the **KAITOURS** logo and a sign with your name.
Our driver will meet you at the meeting point, help you, and accompany you to our vehicle.
Keep in mind that vehicles cannot enter the port area directly. From the port exit to the vehicle there is approximately 5–10 minutes walking.
Our vehicle is a white, comfortable van with air conditioning, with the KAITOURS logo clearly visible. The driver will also carry a sign with his name so that they can easily recognize us at the meeting point.

1Zona Arqueologica De Chacchoben
Travelers will explore the fascinating **Mayan Ruins of Chacchoben**, an ancient archaeological site surrounded by the lush jungle of Quintana Roo. During the visit, they will walk among the remains of ancient ceremonial plazas, temples, and other impressive Mayan structures, while their guide tells them about the history and culture of the Mayan civilization.
