We are going to take you on our Kyushu Nature Tour where you can explore the Minami-Aso area in Kumamoto and Takachiho area in Miyazaki.
This tour also allows the customers to customize and make their own private journey at their request. Our English-speaking staffs will support you in making a wonderful memory on the tour, and you can explore and find the new side of Japan through its nature experiences.
*Please be aware that this tour price is excluding the activity expenses. If you would like to experience the activities listed, please let us know in advance.
*Takachiho Gorge Boat Ride needs to be reserved a week prior to the tour date due to its popularity. If you wish to do this activity please let us know immediately.
*Depending on the weather and volcanic activity at the time, we may have to find the alternative plan for Nakadake Crater since it could be under restrictions for the safety reason.

Meeting and pickup
Our staff will be holding a sign that says "STARS JAPAN TRAVEL" by the pick up vehicle.
If you prefer to be picked up from the station and not at your accommodation, we will pick you up from Hakata Station in front of Mister Donut.

Shirakawa Spring (Shirakawa Suigen) is a famous spring water and selected as one of the 100 best spring waters in Japan. The water contributes to the development of local industries, such as bottled water and Japanese rice wine.

Takachiho Gorge is a narrow chasm cut through the rock by the Gokase River, and the cliffs lining the gorge are made of volcanic basalt columns that resemble the scales of a dragon where the stone twisted and flowed as it formed. Most interestingly, you can ride on a board to explore the Takachiho River and the gorge.

Amano Iwato Shrine is a Japanese shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu. You can see a big torii gate, which is standing in a cave. The shrine in the cave also has a very mystical ambiance.

Takachiho Shrine was built approximately 1900 years ago. It enshrines desties of good harvests, and marriage prospects, transport safety, and lifting of bad luck, and attracts many faithful.

The Takachiho Railway offers a 30-minute, 5-kilometer round-trip ride from Takachiho Station to enjoy the spectacular scenery of Takachiho. On the train ride, you will have a good time seeing beautiful views of the gorge, including the new green leaves in spring and colorful leaves in fall, from the Japanese highest railway bridge. Note: The 12 hours and 30 mins duration will include transportation
