We begin by visiting the Andean village of Santa Rosa de Tastil, where daily life blends with the pre-Hispanic heritage of the famous ruins nearby. Then we follow the high road to the imposing Viaduct La Polvorilla, masterpiece of the Train to the Clouds and one of the most striking icons of the region.

The tour includes a stop in the picturesque village of Santa Rosa de Tastil, an Andean corner that preserves the warmth and daily life of the Puna. Nearby are the Ruins of Tastil, one of the most important pre-Inca settlements in South America, whose cultural heritage gives identity to the area. Although they are not visited in this experience, their presence brings an invaluable historical framework to the environment of the current town.
