Visit the iconic Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery where you learn about the manufacturing process and view a large range of local products and produce.
Next stop is the Island Beehive where you can taste and purchase some of the purest honey in the world.
Then travel to the township of Kingscote. You will have 1 hour to explore the main township, shop at the local gift shops or have lunch in one of the local cafes.
As you depart Kingscote, drive past the famous Silo Art which has become a fan favorite. An amazing photo opportunity!
Next you travel to Kangaroo Island Brewery where a fantastic taste testing of their famous craft beers and ciders await you.
Enjoy your transfer to Pennington Bay a wild and rocky coastline perfect for photos!
Having visiting several different key locations and enjoy sampling local goods and products you head back to Penneshaw.
Information Booth will be set up onsite. Location is to the left of the building at 49 North Terrace and across the road from the Church. Please check In at the Information Booth 30-minutes before tour departure time. Pick up point is only a 10-minute walk from Penneshaw Wharf.
Pick up is from Penneshaw, the gateway to Kangaroo Island.
First stop is the iconic Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery. Here you can learn about the manufacturing process and history of the eucalyptus distillery via a short DVD. You can also view a large range of local products and produce. Keep a look out for the friendly local kangaroos and the emu’s that give the area their name!
Observe a functioning beehive, browse local wares, and purchase some of the famous Ligurian Bee Honey that the island is known for. We highly recommend scooping up a tub of their honey ice-cream to enjoy.
Visit the township of Kingscote, the largest town on the island and South Australia’s oldest European settlement. Enjoy free time to explore the nearby beach, visit cafe’s and chat with locals.
See amazing silo art on display such as Australias largest kangaroo artwork and the local glossy black cockatoo.
Travelers will visit the Kangaroo Island Brewery, founded in 2015, where they will enjoy a taste testing of their most popular craft beers and ciders
Stop off at the scenic Pennington Bay. Admire the sweeping rugged coastline and crystaline waters and enjoy a photo-op.
