Please park your car in the Hourakukan parking lot (the parking fee is free). From here, "Kimono and Japanese Culture House" is about 3 minutes on foot. Kimono and Japanese culture experience house at Takumi no Sato Please use the bus from Jomo Kogen Station (charges apply).
What to expect
◆Step 1: Choose Your Perfect Kimono (20-30 mins)
Select from over 300 authentic kimonos and yukatas at the Kimono and Japanese Culture House.
Professional dressers will expertly dress you with coordinating obi belt, accessories, and hair ornaments.
Comfortable options for women up to 175cm (5L) and men up to 190cm (5L).
◆Step 2: Kimono Photo Walk in the Fairy Tale Village (Approx. 2 hours)
Stroll freely and find Traditional farmhouses tucked away in a peaceful landscape for perfect photo spots.
Our shop is located in the heart of "Takumi no Sato," a village famous for traditional crafts.
You can participate in various local workshops while wearing your kimono Ex. Straw art, Soba Making, strawberry picking, and more.（※Activity fees not included.）
◆Step 3: Return Your Kimono (by 3:00 PM)
