This full-day Ribera del Duero wine tour from Madrid introduces you to the region through three carefully selected wineries, each chosen to show a different face of Ribera, which could include:
A small, family-owned project with hands-on winemaking
A contemporary winery pushing precision and innovation
A more historic or established estate that reflects Ribera’s classic style
No two visits feel the same — because Ribera isn’t one thing.
Between tastings, we stop in a traditional village for a proper Castilian lunch: slow-roasted suckling lamb cooked in a wood-fired oven. It’s simple, regional and exactly what belongs on the table in Ribera. (alternatives available)
This is not a rushed tasting circuit. It’s an introduction to Ribera del Duero guided by a sommelier who understands both the technical side and the story behind the glass.

Winery 1. (this is our typical itinerary and could be subject to change based on availability. All visits will be confirmed with clients before the tour starts). We will visit the first of our wineries, which is a larger, more commercially focused operation. We'll pass through part of their vineyards to learn more about the grape cycle before heading indoors to learn about winemaking processes. We finish with a tasting of three wines and snacks.
Winery 2. (this is our typical itinerary and could be subject to change based on availability. All visits will be confirmed with clients before the tour starts). Visit to a smaller, family operated winery. We will have the opportunity to walk beneath the vineyard and see the underground cellar where we will taste wine directly from the barrel. After that, we'll head up for a tasting of wine paired with cheese.
LUNCH: we'll stop for lunch. Before traveling, we'll ask you to confirm which of the following you'd prefer: Traditional lunch including lechazo (suckling lamb). Picnic between the vines. (this is our typical itinerary and could be subject to change based on availability. All visits will be confirmed with clients before the tour starts).
Winery 3. (this is our typical itinerary and could be subject to change based on availability. All visits will be confirmed with clients before the tour starts). We'll head to meet with an independent winemaker in his winery to see how smaller productions work before tasting a variety of wines.
