Meeting and pickup
You will find us inside the Training Center, enter and search for the (tapis) rug branch, you will find us there.
What to expect
• Design your piece (10–15 min): Choose your project—pouch, wallet, mini-bag or keychain—then pick a color palette from premium wool and Sabra (cactus silk). Sketch a simple layout (we’ll help!).
• Learn the techniques (10–15 min): On a pre-set mini loom, practice essential Moroccan rug stitches—plain weave, loop/rya fringe, and Berber knots—plus safe tool use.
• Weave & create (60–90 min): Bring your design to life. Add textures, shapes, and fringe. Your artisan guide stays by your side with tips for clean edges and neat patterns.
• Finish & assemble (20–30 min): Secure the weave, tidy the back, and add hardware. Choose a zipper or snap; line the pouch; and attach a strap/chain or keyring (upgrades available).
• Photos & wrap-up (5 min): We’ll snap a few pics of you with your creation, share care tips, and pack it in a small gift pouch.
