Huu Lung is located in the south of Lang Son province, about 120km from Hanoi. This is an attractive destination known for its poetic landscape and beautiful cultural identities. Huu Lung boasts many natural features, including caves, rocky karst mountains, primeval forests and beautiful waterfalls. Particularly attractive are community-based ecotourism sites, which showcase rich local cultural heritage.
Huu Lien commune stands out as one of the most attractive destinations in Huu Lung with a diverse landscape that changes with the seasons. It is home to several ethnic groups, including the Tay, Dao, Nung and Kinh, with the weekly markets adding a unique imprint to the local daily life.

At 7:00 the car will pick you up in Hanoi. After 2.5 hours of driving, you will arrive at Huu Lien commune, Lang Son province. You will stay at Local homestay of Tay tribe, within the small village surrounded by mountains and rice fields. After checking in and resting, you will have lunch at homestay with delicious dishes made from local ingredients. At 14:00, our local guide will take you to visit Khe Dau Waterfall, a natural waterfall hidden in the primeval forest. You will travel by car or bicycle to the starting point of the trip and then trek through the forest in Huu Lien Nature Reserve. The 1.5km trail leads you through grasslands, dense forests and unique limestone formations found in Northeast Vietnam. You can swim at the falls and immerse yourself in the cool, refreshing water. You will then follow another trail back to Nong Dung Lake. 17:30 Return to the homestay to rest. Have dinner outdoors with famous Lang Son dishes. Overnight in homestay.
After breakfast at Mai's House, a local guide will take you to visit Dong Lam Valley. This is an extremely special destination with a landscape that changes by the seasons. During the rainy season (from July to October), the entire grassland becomes a 100ha natural infinity "swimming pool". You will explore the valley on a 2-3 hour raft trip. In the dry season (from November to June), Dong Lam valley is adorned with green grass and herds of naturally wandering horses. You can cycle on the valley and participate in experiential activities such as camping and horseback riding. At the end of Dong Lam valley is the starting point for a trekking adventure to visit Lan Dat, a "forgotten" village hidden deep in the mountains with traditional stilt houses of the Dao tribe. You will trek through the forest for 1-1.5 hours to reach this beautiful village. Lunch will be served at local people's homes. 1:30 p.m., back to Dong Lam where the car will get you back to Hanoi around 4 p.m
