    Travelers will step inside one of Paris’s most iconic monuments, set in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Originally built as a church and now a national mausoleum, the Panthéon combines impressive neoclassical architecture with deep French history. Inside, visitors admire the vast interior, monumental columns, and richly decorated frescoes illustrating key moments of French history. They can see Foucault’s Pendulum, a famous scientific experiment demonstrating the rotation of the Earth. In the crypt below, travelers walk through the resting place of some of France’s greatest figures, including Voltaire, Rousseau, Victor Hugo, Émile Zola, and Marie Curie. Depending on availability, visitors may also access the dome, which offers one of the best panoramic views over Paris, stretching across rooftops to landmarks like Notre-Dame and the Eiffel Tower.
