Duiker Island is a leading tourist attraction in Hout Bay, South-West of the city of Cape Town. This craggy expanse of granite rocks is home to thousands of Cape Fur seals, seafaring birds and mammals. It is a favorite destination of local photographers and enthusiasts birdwatchers delight in more than 20 species of seabirds that live there. Duiker Island is favorable breeding spot for these incredible seals. Humpback whales and common dolphins have also been spotted in these waters.
