Sushi Making and Sake Tasting Experience

After the instructor’s demonstration, you make your own sushi, roll and two side dishes all by yourselves. All of the experiences are prepared to be one of the highlights in this class. No doubt that you will enjoy the class!! You'll also learn Japanese traditional seasonings and ingredients used in this cooking experience.

Please let us know if you cannot eat fish. We will prepare vegetable options instead.

Some memorable pictures will be taken during the class and you can get all of them after the class!

Traditional nigiri sushi and sushi roll

We make eight traditional nigiri sushi and one sushi roll. If you need a vegetable option. please let us know in advance.

Spinach sesame sauce is one of the popular Japanese side dishes. We'll use a Japanese special tool.

Using a square pan, we make Japanese omelet one by one. To use chopsticks is difficult but fun. We use a special square pan for this.

What to expect

Let's make your own sushi! We'll make eight traditional nigiri sushi, one sushi roll, two kinds of side dishes, miso soup from broth. Green tea and a certificate named in Japanese are included. We will teach you traditional nigiri sushi in professional way. You'll be surprised to see your sushi which looks like the one at a sushi restaurant.

If you are in Japan or travel in Japan, why don't you try to make sushi? This cooking class will be a good chance for you to learn the basics of Japanese cooking. We will also introduce you two side dishes that you can make even after you get home.

Try three distinct kinds of sake to go with sushi! I'm a sommelier of sake. So you will also learn how different and why. You can enjoy the marriage of sushi and sake!
