What to expect
The typical flow of a matcha experience involves a brief introduction to the history of matcha and the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. You'll then learn how to whisk the matcha, usually using a bamboo whisk (called a "chasen"), and prepare the tea in a proper manner. After that, you get to enjoy the matcha you've prepared, often accompanied by traditional sweets.
