Nakasendo Trail is a route that connects Edo and Kyoto, where Samurai used to walk along this trail. It retains the views of ancient times and lets you feel like you are going on a samurai journey, so hiking on the Nakasendo trail is very popular among overseas tourists!
On the way to the trail, there are lots of sites that make you refresh. For example, Magome Pass, waterfalls, and Ichikokutochi Tatebachaya for resting place, which changes their atmosphere depending on the seasons.

You can refresh on the Nakasendo Trail. From Ikkoku to waterfall, it takes about 30minutes on foot.

The goal point of your journey along Nakasendo Trail! Tsumagojuku looks like Magomejuku, in terms of a "well-preserved old post town". There is a museum (admission fee NOT included) where you can see beautiful soft light of filters through high windows from autumn to spring.

In Ochiaijuku on this tour, you will have a good experience of Japanese culture, Sado, which is the Japanese tea ceremony, at Iouji Temple. The priest of the temple tells you how to make matcha and drink it properly. *Please note: From 10th October, you will be guided to Nakatsugawa-juku, where you visit a sake brewery, a shop of Japanese sweets and a Japanese architecture walking along a little narrow street, with the same price.
